In today’s fiercely competitive business world, innovation is the key to success. While 93% of companies claim to prioritize innovation, only 18% of employees feel empowered to take creative risks at work. Are you ready to tap into the hidden potential within your organization? Then it’s time to harvest the low hanging fruit of everyday creativity.

Imagine intrepid teams that exude trust and cohesion, who are engaged and invested in outcomes, leading to exemplary results and groundbreaking innovations. A creative culture boosts employees who are empowered to innovate from 20% to 70%. Picture a front line employee who enthusiastically shares a process improvement that cuts expenses in half, or a manager who develops employee recognition strategies that decrease turnover. The best part? You don’t need to build an office for an elite team, full of bean bag chairs and foosball tables – creativity is accessible to everyone.

In this engaging keynote, discover the essential habits (DANCE) that create a fertile ground to spark creativity in every team member. No arts and crafts required.

Innovation can be a daily reality, which will transform the way your organization approaches challenges, and drive exceptional results, by animating creative potential at every level.

Audience take-aways

  • Identify simple conditions to create a fertile ground for fostering creative teams
  • List 5 effortless habits to unlock creativity in every team member
  • Recognize and overcome common mistakes that block team performance and creativity
  • Describe how everyday creativity impacts performance and organizational effectiveness

Working in Medical Device Reprocessing is grueling. On the one hand you’re pressured to rush through your tasks to keep up with the demands of surgery and clinics, and on the other hand you are being asked to take your time, pay attention to details, don’t skip steps, stop the line when it’s necessary. Oftentimes the dissonance between these two things is mind-numbing. So, what motivates us to make the right decisions when we are experiencing pressure from all sides? What better way to explore what it takes to care under pressure than by hearing directly from an enucleation surgery patient and fierce MDR advocate. Join Beyond Clean’s Lindsay Brown as she explores safe surgery from a patient perspective.

Since the end of 2020, medical and PPE recycling has taken off with box and bulk programs. But commitment to recycle has been spotty at best.

Manufacturing and healthcare distribution networks have gone “green”. How do we help healthcare follow that trend and keep recycling moving forward?

Ensuring quality in Medical Device Reprocessing Departments (MDRD) requires a mix of man, machine, and device all performing at their best. We will start with Performance Qualification (PQ) that demonstrates automated equipment and accessories are operating optimally and as intended. Then discuss how verifying that manual cleaning steps are being performed effectively is also a quality check MDRDs should incorporate into their quality systems. Lastly, we will look into quality inspection of the medical devices themselves to ensure they are ready for reuse.

Key Objectives:

  • Discuss key concepts and requirements for Performance Qualification (PQ) to increase quality in automated medical device cleaning equipment.
  • Review recommendations for verifying the effectiveness of manual cleaning processes, especially for complex devices.
  • Discuss tools and techniques for ensuring reusable medical devices are functioning properly for the next patient.
